Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Support the Resort Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Prepare and present authentic, high-quality Latin American dishes
- Ensure consistency, quality, and excellent presentation of all menu items.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen team.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Manage stock, food ordering, and inventory while controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe creation.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation during busy service periods.
