Position Overview and Objective
We are expanding our Platform & Infrastructure Engineering team and are looking for a Developer 3 – CI/CD Platform Engineering who can lead the design, implementation, and evolution of scalable software delivery platforms and developer enablement solutions.
In this role, you will drive the architecture and operational excellence of CI/CD systems that power reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across the organization. You will work closely with engineering, SRE, security, and platform teams to improve developer experience, standardize engineering practices, and build resilient cloud-native infrastructure at scale.
You will also mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and contribute to long-term platform strategy while remaining hands-on with implementation and automation.
Some of the things you might work on include:
- Designing and evolving enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms that support multi-team and multi-environment software delivery workflows
- Building self-service developer platform capabilities that simplify infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, secrets management, and operational workflows in collaboration with senior team members
- Improving software supply chain security, including artifact management, vulnerability scanning, policy enforcement, workload identity, and secure deployment practices
- Defining and implementing governance standards for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, access management, and cloud resource utilization
- Driving observability and operational excellence across platform systems, including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and SLO-based monitoring
- Partnering with application and reliability engineering teams to improve deployment reliability, release velocity, and incident response capabilities
- Researching and evaluating emerging technologies in Kubernetes, container ecosystems, platform engineering, developer tooling, and cloud-native security
- Leverage AI-driven development practices and tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity and engineering efficiency
- Participate in reviewing High-Level Design (HLD) documents covering architecture, scalability, reliability, security, operational impact, and deployment considerations for proposed changes
- Participate in weekly on-call and triage rotations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles
- Strong fundamental understanding and development experience background in either of Go, Python, or similar languages
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure, with hands-on experience operating Amazon EKS and supporting CI/CD platforms at scale
- Good understanding of CI/CD architecture, deployment automation, GitOps workflows, and developer platform engineering concepts
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, policy enforcement, and least-privilege access controls
- Strong troubleshooting and operational skills across Linux systems, networking, containers, and distributed systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document architecture, operational processes, and engineering standards
- Experience with one of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Additional Skills and Technologies
- Some expertise with AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, Route 53, S3, CloudWatch, ECR, Lambda, and managed Kubernetes services
- Experience operating and securing Linux-based systems including Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, or container-optimized operating systems
- Experience managing artifact registries and their lifecycle at scale, including governance, retention, replication, and security controls
- Familiarity with multi-tenant platform architectures and developer experience optimization
