THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an AI-native software engineer ready to shape how enterprise brands appear in AI? The Adobe Brand Visibility team builds the systems that determine how enterprise brands appear in ChatGPT, Gemini, and the next generation of AI agents. We're looking for an AI-native Lead Software Engineer who architects platforms with multi-year relevance, establishes AI-native practices the whole org adopts, and shapes Adobe's technical direction at the intersection of AI and brand intelligence. This role doesn't follow the playbook — it writes it!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an AI-native Software Engineer, you'll operate across team boundaries. You'll define AI architecture strategy for systems that are AI-debuggable across service chains. You'll build shared tooling - MCP servers, skills, pattern libraries — that raises the engineering floor across the org.
- Build and ship features for Brand Visibility - an AI-first product that helps enterprises optimize their digital presence for AI-driven discovery
- Design workflows where AI drives end-to-end implementation with human checkpoints at critical boundaries
- Partner with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to turn strategic ambiguity into forward-looking architecture
- Create automated quality enforcement — gates, structural tests, accountability models — that scale without relying on individual discipline
- Integrate with SEO/GEO platforms such as Semrush, shaping how the org reasons about brand visibility data at scale
- Share expertise through tech talks, white papers, and architectural documents
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a relevant university degree with equival
- Deep expertise in distributed systems design and AI-native engineering — comfortable designing for 3–5 year relevance
- Hands-on with AI tools like Codex or Claude Code, and able to define how the team adopts
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO concepts and their influence on content visibility in search and AI-powered experiences
- Track record of shifting technical direction beyond an immediate team through tooling, st
- Self-directed: defines own work and drives complex, ambiguous goals to closure
- Sets the AI-native standard others build on — not just practices it
