Accountabilities:

    The Cloud Architect/Engineer (Azure) will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure cloud solutions while supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

    • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud architectures aligned with business, technical, and operational objectives.
    • Lead cloud migration strategies, including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring applications and workloads.
    • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and Ansible.
    • Define Azure architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices to support scalability, availability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
    • Implement Azure security best practices, including identity and access management, Zero Trust principles, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53.
    • Optimize Azure environments through cost management, resource monitoring, performance tuning, and operational improvements.
    • Design and support containerized solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related Azure container technologies.
    • Integrate Azure services with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated provisioning, testing, and deployment processes.
    • Lead technical architecture discussions and collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and business partners to align solutions with organizational goals.
    • Support hybrid and multi-cloud environments while continuously improving cloud capabilities and operational maturity.
    • Requirements:

      The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in cloud architecture, Microsoft Azure technologies, and enterprise infrastructure solutions. Required qualifications include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.
      • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture patterns, and enterprise cloud environments.
      • Experience with Azure migration strategies, cloud governance, infrastructure automation, and security best practices.
      • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible.
      • Experience with Azure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployment methodologies.
      • Familiarity with container platforms, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and cloud-native technologies.
      • Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, networking, identity management, and cloud security concepts.
      • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead technical initiatives from design through implementation.
      • AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
      • Ability to meet eligibility requirements for Public Trust access.
