Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing operations, including creating, issuing, tracking, and maintaining purchase orders within NetSuite.
- Support vendor onboarding by collecting required documentation, coordinating approvals, and ensuring accurate vendor setup.
- Serve as a key procurement partner for internal teams, including operations, finance, legal, and IT, supporting purchase order updates, changes, and issue resolution.
- Monitor purchase order workflows, follow up on approvals, identify delays, and proactively escalate risks when needed.
- Track open orders, manage delivery timelines, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing, quantity, and receiving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, pricing information, lead times, and procurement data through regular audits and system updates.
- Ensure purchasing activities align with internal policies, controls, and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities through purchasing-related journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare procurement documentation for audits and assist with spend analysis and management reporting.
- Drive improvements that streamline purchasing and accounting processes while supporting cross-functional business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within biotech, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
- Strong experience using NetSuite for purchasing operations, vendor management, and procurement workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Experience managing vendor onboarding processes, including documentation collection and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of purchase order lifecycles, approval workflows, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP principles related to purchasing, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Competitive annual salary range of $90,000 – $115,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
- Fully remote position aligned with the PST time zone.
