Forklift Operator — Order Picker (Furniture)

Pay: $19 per hour
Shift/Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (1st Shift)
About the Role
A busy furniture distribution warehouse in Aurora, IL is hiring an experienced Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join their 1st shift team. This role operates a Raymond stand-up forklift with a flatbed attachment to pick and move furniture orders throughout the warehouse.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Raymond forklift with flatbed attachment to pick furniture orders
- Safely navigate warehouse aisles and racking to fulfill orders accurately
- Load and stage picked orders for shipping
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Prior forklift/order picker experience required
- Experience with Raymond equipment and flatbed attachments preferred
- Comfortable handling furniture and larger, bulkier items
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
