You will act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access leaders, ensuring that field execution aligns with regulatory requirements while still supporting business growth and innovation. The position plays a critical role in shaping how compliance is embedded into product launches, indication expansions, and day-to-day field operations. You will design and oversee scalable compliance frameworks, training programs, and governance structures that guide compliant behavior across the organization. In parallel, you will monitor regulatory developments, assess emerging risks, and translate insights into actionable strategies and controls. Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary compliance partner for field organizations including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Access teams
- Provide strategic compliance guidance to senior leadership on field execution, commercialization risks, and regulatory expectations
- Lead identification, assessment, and mitigation of compliance risks tied to field activities and product commercialization
- Design and implement scalable compliance frameworks supporting product launches and indication expansions
- Own field compliance training strategy, including design, delivery, and continuous improvement of programs
- Develop and govern policies, SOPs, and field guidance documents ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and business needs
- Oversee compliance monitoring, auditing insights, and CAPA development related to field operations
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Commercial, Medical, and Market Access teams to ensure aligned compliance execution
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, legal, regulatory, or related pharmaceutical/biotech roles
- Strong experience supporting Commercial and Medical Affairs field organizations in biotech or pharma environments
- Proven track record of designing and implementing compliance programs, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies
- Deep knowledge of healthcare regulations including FDA, CMS, OIG, HIPAA, DOJ, and PhRMA Code
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
- Oncology or specialty pharma experience preferred, along with launch or indication expansion exposure
- Competitive base salary ($186,000–$233,000 USD depending on experience and location)
