Accountabilities

    In this role, you will provide hands-on family support through direct engagement, case management, and community coordination, ensuring families receive the services they need to thrive.

    • Build and maintain trusting relationships with families through regular communication, home visits, and ongoing support.
    • Identify family strengths and needs, support goal setting, and connect families to appropriate internal and external resources.
    • Serve as a liaison between families, program staff, and community organizations to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
    • Monitor required family and child outcomes such as health, attendance, and developmental milestones, ensuring compliance with program standards.
    • Facilitate parent engagement activities, meetings, and volunteer opportunities that strengthen family involvement.
    • Support enrollment, recruitment, orientation, and retention efforts for early childhood programs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and reporting in required systems and databases.
    • Requirements

      The ideal candidate brings a strong background in family services, early childhood support, or social work, along with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

      • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Studies, or a related field.
      • 3–5 years of experience working with children, families, or community-based social service programs.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse populations.
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed documentation.
      • Experience in home visiting programs, family childcare settings, shelters, or similar community-based environments is highly valued.
