About the role:
This role contributes to Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities that help shape the organization's financial strategy and ensure its fiscal health. It also contributes to the success of the FP&A department by proactively identifying and assessing growth opportunities, conducting variance analysis, and preparing detailed financial reports to support strategic decision-making processes. This role also directs individuals throughout the development and implementation of financial models and analytical tools that support the organization's overall financial objectives and help drive sustainable growth in a dynamic market environment.
What you will be doing:
- This position has ownership for planning, forecasting, reporting and governance of Non-GAAP expense for the company, delivering accurate monthly financial reports and executive presentations
- Facilitates investment governance through ownership of review and approval process of business cases, as well as tracking all expenses to ensure aligned with approval
- Applies accounting guidance understanding to ensure all expenses are qualified for Non-GAAP treatment
- Collaborates with business case owners across the company to review and update forecasts
- Collaborates with the accounting team, ensuring accruals are aligned with approved business cases and work effort
- Aligns external reporting with accounting
- Coordinates and maintains reliable financial data and analysis to facilitate decision-making and planning processes surrounding future financial business plans and organizational goals that require investment
- Creates variance analysis reports and financial models, utilizing industry-proven tools and methods to identify and evaluate current financial and economic trends.
- Collaborates with strategic accounting and enterprise finance to provide cash forecast of Non-GAAP expense
- Facilitates the creation and maintenance of the organization's annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating all financial data, analysis, and relevant documentation in preparation for managerial review.
- Ensures all financial documents, records, and monetary details are fully and accurately documented and inputted into the organization database in preparation for both planned and unplanned internal and external audits.
- Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees to create accurate financial analysis reports and models.

We are seeking an experienced candidate who will be an individual contributor facilitating operational tasks that contribute to departmental outcomes, managing the implementation of systems, processes, or products to improve performance. Responsibilities include addressing complex issues with considerable independence, applying analysis and judgment to guide decisions.
Strong communication skills needed as the right candidate will have regular communication with external contacts such as customers, vendors, and requiring information exchange. This position typically requires a 5-7 years of experience in a related field, supported by advanced education or specialized knowledge.
