Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Student Nurse, you will provide vital, supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations, leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting.Every day you will deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene and comfort, meticulously monitoring and documenting clinical activities, and ensuring a safe, organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate compassion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safe, compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement and accurately implementing delegated patient tasks.
- Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff
- Monitors and records vital signs
- Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
- Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output
- Obtains and records daily weight
- Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
- Must be enrolled and attending nursing school(must present proof) and Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
