The Sr. Professional I, External Reporting is responsible for the preparation and accuracy of all supporting documentation and statements related to external reporting.Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
• Prepare draft financial statements for 10Qs, 10K, Annual Report and assist in preparation of Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in those documents
• Review monthly consolidation of financial results (Balance Sheet and Segment Income Statement) and prepares monthly share calculations for EPS purposes
• Prepare quarterly press release related financials and other reporting requirements required for the web page on a quarterly basis
• Assist in implementing new accounting standards for the Company and also assist in researching accounting topics for the Company
• Work closely with the external auditors regarding audit requirements related to all SEC filings
• Maintain documentation supporting all Company public reporting
• Assist in providing information requested by Investor Relations officer
• Interact with Accounting and other departments to obtain information on a timely fashion in order to facilitate the external reporting process
• Assist in preparation of all Pension audits and filings. Work with Benefits department and External auditors to co-ordinate timely filing of all pension/VEBA filings
• Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with four to six years of relevant experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
• Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
• Solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Demonstrated business acumen
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data
Role requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Broad application of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement.
The base salary range is $92,000 to $115,000. Actual salaries vary based on candidate's qualifications, skills and competencies. The deadline to apply for this position is July 24, 2026.
