The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Requirements

Minimum Level of Education  

  • Senior Certificate and IT related qualifications.

Beneficial Qualifications  

  • MCSE, Office 365, Azure and any Project Management related certifications.

Minimum Experience 

  • 4 to 6years of experience in as a system administration
  • Experience in most of the following: Windows10, 11; Server2019, 2022, 365; SQL Server; Visual Studio; Ticketing Systems, PowerShell; CMD; RAID; Hyper-V; Azure; Firewall and Network configuration; Enterprise level Antivirus, Asset Management 

Beneficial Experience 

  • Fresh Service, Fortinet, Intune, Tenant Migrations, Unifi Management, VEEAM

Special Skills and Knowledge 

  • Security Principles
  • Managing Server Infrastructures
  • Good understanding of SYSPRO/ ERPArchitecture
  • Microsoft SQL server
  • Hyper-V and Azure VMs
  • Backup Solutions

Responsibilities

  • End-User Support & Incident Resolution
    Provide first- and second-line technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, network, and access-related issues promptly while meeting SLA targets.
  • User Account & Identity Management
    Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication across systems (e.g., Active Directory / Entra ID, email, and business applications), including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Systems Administration & Maintenance
    Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, virtual machines, operating systems, and core IT infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Endpoint & Device Management
    Configure, deploy, secure, and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including patching, updates, and endpoint security enforcement.
  • Network & Connectivity Support
    Assist with basic network administration and troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN access, WiFi issues, and printer or peripheral support.
  • Backup, Security & Compliance Tasks
    Assist in managing backups, system updates, and security controls, and support incident response and compliance with internal IT policies and best practices.
  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement
    Maintain accurate system documentation, support procedures, and asset records, while identifying opportunities to improve user experience, system stability, and IT processes.
