This person will play a key role in coordinating our vendor payment process and preparing monthly close journal entries, account reconciliations and accruals. Over 6% of active NBA players have invested in Overtime.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate accounts payable process utilizing our AP automation software; communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage invoice workflow, review invoices for coding accuracy, process invoices for payment, and coordinate payment timing with the Senior Accounting Manager.Support the accounts receivable workflow by accurately preparing and distributing clientinvoices, maintaining regular communication with clients regarding account status, andproactively executing payment collection efforts to resolve outstanding balancesPrepare and record various journal entries including cash activity, accruals, and othermonth-end activityAssist with month-end close, including posting journal entries, reconciliations ofaccounts and subledgers to the General LedgerComplete various Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis to be used bymanagement in monthly and quarterly financial statement reviewsProcess monthly credit card statements and allocation of expensesAssist with audit requestsAssist in preparation of annual 1099 filingsProvide other ad hoc analysis as may be required by managementOther duties as assigned by managementSkills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field0-3 years related work experienceTeam player with great attitude, eager to learn, self-starterPossess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong Excel skillsNetSuite and Ramp experience a plusLocation: Brooklyn, NYHybrid: This position has a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the NY office. Overtime expects the salary range for this position to be around $54k-58k, depending on experience.
