Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
Admit patients from the emergency department
Cross-cover and manage existing hospitalized patients
Respond to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams
Ensure thorough documentation and effective handoffs
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for or active Illinois medical license
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $330,000.00 to $350,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
