Job Description

The Associate Project Manager – CI & Automation is responsible for driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives across GEBS and enterprise functions. This role combines process transformation expertise, stakeholder leadership, program governance, and business engagement to deliver measurable operational impact through automation, process optimization, and strategic CI initiatives.

The Associate Project Manager will partner closely with business leaders, technical teams, and global stakeholders to identify opportunities, drive automation adoption, lead executive governance forums, and strengthen the GEBS Continuous Improvement and Automation framework.

You will report to the CI Automation Leader.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end automation and continuous improvement projects across GEBS functions, ensuring delivery of business outcomes, productivity gains, and operational excellence.
  • Lead automation opportunity identification, process assessments, value discovery workshops, and project prioritization discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Support development, maintenance, governance, and enhancement of the GEBS CI & Automation framework.
  • Drive leadership forums and cross-functional discussions to align priorities, resolve barriers, and ensure execution momentum.
  • Collaborate with technical development teams, Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and business process owners to implement scalable automation solutions.
  • Lead and support RPA, Celonis, analytics, and process excellence initiatives aligned with annual automation and productivity goals.
  • Ensure adherence to CI governance standards, automation best practices, risk controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with business leaders to establish KPIs, value realization metrics, and outcome tracking mechanisms for automation initiatives.
  • Prepare impactful leadership communication materials, dashboards, executive presentations, and strategic updates.
  • Benchmark automation and CI practices against industry standards and recommend enhancement opportunities.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of overall experience, with 4-5 years in Continuous Improvement, Automation, Business Transformation, or Process Excellence roles.
  • Experience driving automation and CI initiatives across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading governance calls, leadership reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Understanding of automation lifecycle, business process analysis, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Exposure to Lean, RPA, process mining, analytics, and/or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in GEBS/shared services/process operations environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or IFS.
  • Exposure to automation and process mining and automation tools such as Blue Prism, Power Automate, or Celonis.
  • Experience creating executive dashboards and business impact reporting.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or Automation technologies.
