The Consulting Technical Director, NetSuite Customer Success, is responsible for helping customers maximize the value of their NetSuite investment by providing strategic business and technology advisory services.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, leveraging deep expertise in the Consumer Goods industry—including Retail, Distribution, and Light Manufacturing—to deliver innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
The incumbent partners with customers to define transformation strategies, recommend leading practices, and design scalable solutions that improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
Additionally, this role is responsible for developing industry-specific solution offerings based on emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive product capabilities.
The Consulting Technical Director acts as a senior subject matter expert throughout the customer lifecycle, supporting business development through solution strategy, executive presentations, and implementation delivery. The incumbent leads cross-functional consulting teams on the most complex customer engagements and develops integrated delivery solutions. As a recognized thought leader, this individual drives innovation within the practice, mentors consultants, influences solution development and discussion, and contributes to the continued evolution of NetSuite Customer Success offerings.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:
- 10+ years of experience with packaged software application solution delivery, ideally as a member of a professional services organization.
- Strong experience leading professional services full lifecycle business software implementations while also guiding, mentoring other team members.
- Significant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) packaged solution implementation experience.
- Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable software solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication is required with previous experience in defining language for solutions for Statement of Work for new and existing customers
- Strong experience in Change Management and Business Process Mapping
- Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan.
- Previous services sales experience; comfortable interacting at the “C” level
- NetSuite solution experience and Consumer Goods Industry oriented past experience are highly preferred
- Undergraduate degree of equivalent experience required
- Proficiency with AI tools for operational efficiency as well as with client facing engagements highly desired.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed
Detailed Responsibilities include:
Achieve and Exceed PS Revenue and Profitability Objectives
- Perform to achieve utilization and other performance goals including ensuring highest customer satisfaction results.
- Support the sales cycle through scoping and approval of PS engagements, Executive-level prospect meetings and Solution reviews.
- Lead the development of custom solutions and deliverables while working with a global mix of resources to ensure business requirements of customers are met.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to assist in resources’ career development and help develop Industry oriented solutions and assets.
- Build team’s expertise and confidence in project delivery work.
Increase the Value of the NetSuite Application for Customers
- Expand PS sales in existing customer base.
- Become trusted adviser to the Customer through implementation lifecycle and beyond.
- Showcase AI knowledge and capabilities to help support the growth and adoption of customers in using NetSuite’s AI tools and technologies.
- Team with Account Management and Client Management teams to promote user adoption and effective use of NetSuite, and support renewal efforts.
- Collaborate with NetSuite partners during services engagements.
Ensure High Customer Satisfaction and Referencability
- Responsible for adhering to highest quality standards in project delivery.
- Provide Solution advisor and lead functional consultant oversight through NetSuite implementation.
- Serve as Steering Committee SME member on strategic projects.
- Contribute to company’s focus on industry experience and expertise through participation in internal cross-departmental initiatives.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
