Responsibilities:
Provide clinical, operational, and financial leadership for assigned department(s), ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, performance management, and professional development of nursing staff.
Foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, shared decision-making, and professional growth.
Drive quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Utilize data, technology, and evidence-based practices to support decision-making, operational effectiveness, and clinical excellence.
Manage departmental budgets, staffing resources, productivity, and financial performance.
Build collaborative relationships with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and organizational leaders to optimize patient outcomes and operational success.
Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, continuous learning, and the organization's CARES values.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within established organizational timelines.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Demonstrated experience in staff development, quality improvement, patient safety, and operational management.
Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on department or specialty area.
