Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical, operational, and financial leadership for assigned department(s), ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, performance management, and professional development of nursing staff.

  • Foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, shared decision-making, and professional growth.

  • Drive quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

  • Utilize data, technology, and evidence-based practices to support decision-making, operational effectiveness, and clinical excellence.

  • Manage departmental budgets, staffing resources, productivity, and financial performance.

  • Build collaborative relationships with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and organizational leaders to optimize patient outcomes and operational success.

  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, continuous learning, and the organization's CARES values.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within established organizational timelines.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in staff development, quality improvement, patient safety, and operational management.

  • Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on department or specialty area.
