Description
Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Marketing Strategy to lead the North American go-to-market strategy and execution for a portfolio of Clinical Education & Therapeutics solutions covering areas such as Behaviour, Mental Health, Cognitive and Therapeutics. This role owns portfolio priorities, marketing strategy, positioning, campaign planning and launch execution, ensuring programmes deliver measurable impact across revenue, pipeline, retention, adoption and customer growth.
Working closely with Sales, Product Management, Clinical Experts, Educator SMEs and Marketing teams, you will transform market insight into actionable marketing strategies that drive engagement, awareness, demand generation and commercial performance across both B2B and B2C audiences throughout the United States and Canada.
This role is aligned to other titles in the market such as Marketing Strategy Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Go-to-Market Manager, Portfolio Marketing Manager, Demand Generation Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Integrated Marketing Manager, or Healthcare Marketing Manager.
What You'll Be Doing
Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Go-to-Market Leadership (~45%)
- Own marketing strategy, governance and prioritisation across assigned Clinical Education & Therapeutics portfolios.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, aligning investment decisions, campaign priorities and go-to-market sequencing.
- Identify new growth opportunities across B2B and B2C markets and partner with Product Management and Sales to develop commercial strategies.
- Develop integrated marketing plans spanning digital campaigns, content, events, webinars, partnerships and sales-led initiatives.
- Refine value propositions, positioning and competitive differentiation for clinical education and therapeutics audiences.
- Partner with Sales teams to support territory planning, account-based marketing initiatives and campaign-to-opportunity conversion strategies.
- Monitor market trends, accreditation requirements, funding changes, regulatory developments and emerging opportunities within clinical education.
Campaign Execution, Launches & Sales Enablement (~35%)
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of marketing campaigns from brief through launch, optimisation and performance review.
- Develop content programmes that support customer awareness, evaluation, adoption and advocacy.
- Manage virtual event and webinar marketing strategy, audience acquisition, registration campaigns, speaker coordination and post-event nurture programmes.
- Lead go-to-market execution for new product launches across Clinical Education & Therapeutics portfolios.
- Build scalable launch frameworks and repeatable launch-readiness processes.
- Develop sales enablement assets including presentations, battlecards, customer-facing materials, landing pages and nurture content.
- Manage delivery through project management tools such as Wrike, ensuring projects remain on track, on budget and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Clinical SMEs, Creative Services and external partners to ensure content is accurate, compliant and aligned to accessibility standards.
Performance, Optimisation & Operational Excellence (~10%)
- Own campaign measurement frameworks, dashboards and reporting processes.
- Monitor traffic, lead generation, conversion performance, adoption and retention metrics.
- Drive continuous optimisation through testing, audience refinement and channel performance analysis.
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to maintain campaign governance, reporting accuracy and CRM effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, accelerate delivery and share best practices across the team.
Partnerships & Market Engagement (~10%)
- Build relationships with clinical education organisations, associations, partners and influencer communities.
- Support conference and event strategies including sponsorships, speaking opportunities, lead capture and follow-up programmes.
- Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities, webinars and partnership initiatives.
- Gather and share market feedback to influence future product strategy, messaging and customer engagement approaches.
What We're Looking For
- Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, portfolio marketing plans and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong background partnering with Sales, Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
- Expertise across campaign planning, content strategy, demand generation and product launches.
- Experience working with data, reporting and marketing performance measurement.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with audience-first thinking and evidence-based decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience within healthcare, clinical education, professional learning, therapeutics, regulated industries or complex B2B environments would be highly advantageous.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $75,000 - $90,000 per annum. (US applicants only)
