Accountabilities:
- Enter and reconcile contract manufacturing activities, ensuring production data, costs, and supporting documentation are accurately captured.
- Process product receipts based on vendor reporting and production completion data from manufacturing partners.
- Track inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, consumption, and adjustments, ensuring proper financial recognition.
- Support production activities and assembly transactions by maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component usage records.
- Process prepaid supplier invoices, purchase orders, and vendor statement reconciliations to maintain accurate balances.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to maintain inventory accuracy and alignment across functions.
- Provide accounting support, reporting analysis, workflow testing, and process improvement recommendations.
- Utilize ERP systems and reporting tools to support inventory accounting operations and reconciliation activities.
- 5+ years of inventory accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing contract manufacturing reporting, inventory reconciliation, and ERP-based accounting processes.
- Strong understanding of inventory flows and related financial accounting concepts, including COGS, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Hands-on experience with production activities, assembly processes, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience managing prepaid supplier invoices, purchase orders, and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasets, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Exflow, or comparable ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and manage responsibilities in a remote environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Contract position with an hourly compensation range of $45 - $50 USD per hour.
