Role Summary/Purpose:
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble a variety of materials (stainless, nickel alloy, Hast-X) and components using tig welding processes and procedures
- Strong assessment of weld parameter inputs with the ability to make adjustments during welding
- Interpret and execute production using drawings and blueprints
- Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner after completing work orders
- Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
- Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
- Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, and look up work instructions
- Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets, fixtures and method documents to correctly set up parts to be welded
- Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
What you'll bring:
- Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited welding program OR 1 year of industrial TIG welding experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment. Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding and able to pass a 6G weld test on Stainless and Nickel
- Flexibility: Willingness to work 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F) and overtime when needed.
