Technical Product Manager

Hyderabad, IndiaFull-timePosted Jul 22, 2026

You enjoy shaping the future of product innovation as a core leader, driving value for customers, guiding successful launches, and exceeding expectations. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients.

As a Product Manager in Consumer and community banking, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product vision & strategy: Define and communicate product vision, target personas, success metrics, and multi-quarter roadmap for framework/platform capabilities.
  • Backlog ownership: Own product backlog management end-to-end—intake, discovery, prioritization, writing epics/PRDs, acceptance criteria, and release planning.
  • Data-driven prioritization: Use quantitative and qualitative inputs (adoption metrics, developer feedback, incident trends, performance data, support tickets) to prioritize investments and demonstrate ROI.
  • Stakeholder leadership: Drive alignment with Senior Developers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and Senior Leadership; facilitate trade-offs across architecture, risk, timelines, and usability.
  • Technical product execution: Partner with engineering to translate ambiguous needs into clear requirements and deliver iterative value in a fast-paced environment.
  • NFR ownership & operating excellence: Define and drive framework-level non-functional requirements, including:
    • Disaster Recovery : RTO/RPO expectations, failover patterns, environment parity, runbooks/testing
    • Resiliency: fault tolerance, retries/timeouts, backpressure, idempotency, graceful degradation, chaos testing expectations
    • Security: secure-by-default patterns, authentication/authorization approaches, secrets management, vulnerability management, threat modeling support
  • AI-focused development lifecycle: Help shape and operationalize an AI-aware SDLC (e.g., model/tool evaluation, prompt/code governance where applicable, quality gates, testing strategy, risk and compliance considerations, human-in-the-loop review, monitoring).
  • GTM : Define and execute go-to-market strategy—positioning, rollout plans, enablement, documentation, training, adoption campaigns, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
  • Developer experience : Improve onboarding and productivity via templates/golden paths, reference implementations, documentation strategy, and a scalable support model.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on development experience building and operating Java backend services (microservices, APIs, distributed systems).
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Java microservices and service design patterns
    • Event-driven architecture (messaging/streaming patterns, delivery semantics, idempotency, ordering, retries)
    • Cloud architecture (scaling, networking concepts, multi-region patterns, reliability design)
  • Set and evolve baselines for Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, WebFlux vs. MVC, GraphQL schema conventions
  • Demonstrated experience in product backlog management (prioritization frameworks, story mapping, dependency management, iterative delivery).
  • Proven ability to define and deliver product vision and execute in environments with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Experience defining and driving NFRs for platforms/frameworks: DR, resiliency, security.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across deep technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Experience driving roadmaps for developer platforms/frameworks (platform engineering, shared libraries, service frameworks, golden paths).
  • Proven GTM strategy ownership for platform adoption (launch plans, enablement content, training, internal evangelism, success measurement).
  • Familiarity with observability practices (SLOs/SLIs, tracing/metrics/logging, incident management learnings).
  • Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled products or SDLC practices (evaluation, monitoring, governance, experimentation).
  • Proven delivery of API/schema governance, versioning/deprecation, and CI policy gates.

Core Competencies

  • Strong technical fluency with a product lens (can engage deeply with engineers and architects)
  • Data-driven decision making and prioritization discipline
  • Ability to simplify complexity and create clarity from ambiguity
  • Excellent written communication (PRDs, decision docs, roadmap narratives)
  • Cross-team execution and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
