Job Description

As Junior HR Service Center Specialist you will be a HR representative, delivering high-quality support and guidance to Rockwell Automation employees, managers, and HR partners. You will be a primary contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring resolution of requests while maintaining a focus on customer experience and process consistency. You will manage multiple HR processes and transactions across the employee lifecycle, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and systems.

You will be part of an international and experienced HR team and you will work together with specialists in the business who value and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

You will work in hybrid model with office in Milan and report directly to HR Service Center Lead.

Your Responsibilities:

HR Service Delivery

  • Manage HR Processes (hire to retire) ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies, completion of required documentation, payroll input preparation and accurate employee records in Workday and SAP.
  • Manage country specific local processes, verifying requests and documentation and ensuring recording for payroll and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain employee documentation following company and legal requirements (creation, retention, and deletion).
  • Resolve HR inquiries submitted through Workday Help accurately and within defined SLAs and quality standards, to ensure positive employee experience.
  • Identify owner for out-of-scope inquiries received in Workday Help and connect with relevant service team to ensure smooth resolution.
  • Update and maintain process documentation (SOP) in a timely manner and actively share knowledge.

Employee & Manager Support

  • Act as first point of contact providing clear guidance on HR policy and processes across core HR areas (e.g., hiring & onboarding, data changes, time & leave, separations, benefits, payroll, mobility etc.)
  • Coach on Workday navigation, process flows and required approvals and promote use of employee and manager self-service.

Service Quality & Compliance

  • Follow HR policies, SOPs, and country‑specific compliance requirements
  • Ensure accurate audit trails and proper documentation in cases and systems
  • Ensure data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with local regulations

Workday & HR Technology

  • Partner with HR Systems on business process optimization in Workday and to leverage technology capabilities, also participating in system testing and identification of system and user interface issues.
  • Explore and increase knowledge on AI and automation tools.

Continuous Improvement (Operational Level)

  • Participate in HRSC initiatives aimed at improving service quality and efficiency, also supporting regional and global projects.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in HR.
  • Bachelor's degree within HR, Business Administration or similar (or relevant experience, at least 1 year).
  • Language skills: Italian, fluent English verbal and writing.
  • Service-minded and focused on providing a great customer experience.
  • Work quality, with a dedicated focus on details and able to work well with deadlines.
  • Motivated, independent and we-thinking.
  • Curious and continuous improvement mindset.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge of German, French or Danish.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP).
  • Experience in international environment.

The salary range for this position is between 26 480,00 - 39 720,00 EUR annual, this includes all bonsues.
