Role responsibilities

The Direct Support Professional III is responsible for supervising Direct Support Professional I and II staff, ensuring the safety and care of consumers, and monitoring documentation related to Individual Support Plans. This role also involves implementing Active Treatment programs and reporting significant events as per agency policies.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of relevant regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with individuals who may be physically aggressive or medically fragile.
