Job Description:

The Head of AI Solutions & Technology Delivery (US) is responsible for leading the development, delivery, and adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI solutions across TD Bank's U.S. business lines.

Working in close partnership with business leaders, AI platform teams, enterprise architecture, and control functions, this role drives the successful execution of AI initiatives that improve customer experiences, colleague productivity, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

The executive serves as the primary technology delivery leader for AI-enabled business solutions, translating business needs into production-ready capabilities while ensuring solutions are aligned with enterprise AI standards, governance requirements, security controls, and regulatory expectations.

This role manages a portfolio of AI initiatives from intake and prioritization through implementation, adoption, and value realization, while building high-performing teams and advancing responsible AI practices across the organization.

Depth & Scope

AI Solution Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions supporting U.S. business priorities.
  • Partner with business executives and product owners to identify, assess, and prioritize AI opportunities.
  • Manage the AI solutions portfolio, including demand intake, roadmap planning, execution oversight, and delivery reporting.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to expected business outcomes.

Business Engagement & Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted technology partner to U.S. business leaders  
  • Translate business strategies and operational challenges into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
  • Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders, technology teams, and control partners throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Drive solution adoption and change management activities to maximize business value.

Agentic AI & Innovation

  • Lead the implementation of Agentic AI solutions that streamline workflows, automate activities, and enhance decision-making.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply innovative capabilities to business challenges.
  • Champion responsible experimentation, rapid prototyping, and iterative delivery approaches.
  • Promote reuse of approved AI patterns, tools, and capabilities across delivery teams.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure all AI solutions comply with enterprise governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Information Security, and Model Risk teams to support approvals and implementation.
  • Establish monitoring, operational controls, and documentation required for production deployment and ongoing oversight.
  • Maintain audit readiness and transparency throughout the AI solution lifecycle.

Value Realization & Performance Management

  • Define and measure business outcomes associated with AI initiatives.
  • Track adoption, productivity gains, operational efficiencies, customer experience improvements, and financial benefits.
  • Provide executive reporting and portfolio insights to senior management.
  • Continuously optimize solution performance and operational effectiveness.

Customer Accountabilities

  • Deliver AI-enabled capabilities that improve customer and colleague experiences.
  • Ensure solutions provide reliable, consistent, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Support business adoption through effective stakeholder engagement and change management.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive technology experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience delivering technology solutions and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience delivering business-facing AI, advanced analytics, automation, or digital solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud technologies, and modern delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and deliver measurable results.

Preferred

  • Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, or Machine Learning solutions.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and model risk management processes.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrixed environments.
