The Channel Analytics & Operations Specialist is responsible for consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights, drive KPI performance, and improve sales forecasting and funnel predictability. The role partners cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, and product teams to enable data-driven decisions, ensures high-quality Salesforce processes and reporting, and supports channel partner performance through structured analysis, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position reports to the Discovery Channel Manager and is part of the Discovery and Medical organization located in Hyderabad/Bangalore/Mumbai and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Collect, integrate, and analyze data from Salesforce, partner reports, and internal systems to generate actionable business insights and identify growth opportunities.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, performance drivers, and gaps, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales performance, account coverage, and product mix.
- Build and refine sales funnel analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and business predictability. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, product teams) to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Support partner performance management by analyzing metrics, identifying root causes of issues, and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage partner lifecycle processes, including onboarding new partners and addressing underperformance. Travel to channel partner locations as needed to understand on-ground operations, validate insights, and drive data-backed improvements.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, or data analytics roles, preferably within biotech, pharma, or life sciences industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, and at least one visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (SFDC), including data extraction, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Demonstrated experience in building dashboards, performing data cleaning, conducting exploratory data analysis, and presenting insights to cross-functional stakeholders through structured reports and business reviews.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations with exposure to commercial or sales data analytics.
- Supporting sales forecasting, pricing analytics, or channel partner performance tracking in a structured CRM environment (e.g., Salesforce).
