As a Fund Servicing Analyst in the Transfer Agency Product Group within Operations, you will support the daily delivery of transfer agency services by ensuring transactions and reporting are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will help oversee business-as-usual processing across the investor lifecycle, including account activity, cash movements, reconciliations, and reporting. You will investigate client queries, escalate risks early, and contribute to process improvements and projects that strengthen service quality.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the Fund Servicing Manager I in coordinating team activities and overseeing daily operations.
  • Process investor and account activity accurately and on time, including account opening, account maintenance, trade processing, pricing support, cash processing and settlement, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Record and reconcile money movement accurately in line with established transfer agency procedures.
  • Perform know your client reviews and anti-money laundering checks in accordance with firm policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc client, investor, and regulatory reports with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Investigate client queries by analyzing activity and providing clear, relevant data and findings to support resolution.
  • Escalate potential risks, issues, and exceptions promptly to help minimize operational loss and rework.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures to reflect current processes and controls.
  • Lead or contribute to internal and external projects that improve service delivery, controls, or efficiency.
  • Prioritize workload effectively to meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 1 year of relevant experience in a financial institution or financial services operations role.
  • Working knowledge of transfer agency administration processes across the investor lifecycle (for example, account opening, maintenance, cash processing, and reporting).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across different audiences and levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated accountability, including taking ownership to deliver outcomes and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Analytical and logical thinking skills with sound problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues, take initiative, and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Ability to work with limited direction while maintaining high standards and controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 1 year of transfer agency experience supporting funds and investor servicing.
  • 1 year of experience supporting team coordination, coaching, or people leadership activities.
  • Experience using transfer agency administration systems to process and review investor activity.
  • Experience performing know your client and anti-money laundering checks in an operations environment.
  • Demonstrated experience improving, streamlining, or documenting processes and controls.
  • Experience supporting internal or external projects in an operations or fund servicing context.
  • Ability to build deep working knowledge of business applications and technology used within fund servicing operations.
