The Role

As a Business Development Partner based in Luxembourg, you are in a growth-focused “hunter” role responsible for acquiring net-new enterprise clients and building scalable expansion pathways within newly won accounts. You are accountable for creating new revenue streams by identifying, qualifying, and converting high-value opportunities into long-term, multi-million-dollar client relationships.

Operating independently from existing account teams, you will lead the early stages of the sales lifecycle—from market targeting and C-suite engagement to deal shaping and initial contract signature.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • New Logo Acquisition

    • Identify, target, and secure net-new enterprise clients in priority industries and markets
    • Build and execute proactive outbound strategies to generate qualified pipeline
  • Opportunity Qualification & Deal Shaping

    • Lead early-stage opportunity development, including value hypothesis, client positioning, and competitive differentiation
    • Establish high-impact “beachhead” engagements that demonstrate immediate client value
  • Land-and-Expand Strategy

    • Architect scalable account entry strategies that evolve into multi-service, multi-year relationships
    • Define expansion roadmaps in collaboration with Consult Partners and Customer Technology Advisors
  • Executive Engagement

    • Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior IT stakeholders
    • Position Kyndryl’s full portfolio across Managed Services and Kyndryl Consult
  • Cross-Practice Selling

    • Integrate offerings across practices to address complex business and technology challenges
    • Drive solution-oriented discussions rather than product-led selling
  • Sales Lifecycle Leadership

    • Own the sales cycle from prospecting through qualified opportunity handoff
    • Ensure high-quality pipeline progression with clear qualification discipline
  • Collaboration & Handover

    • Partner closely with Consult Partners and Customer Technology Advisors to transition qualified deals for closure
    • Maintain accountability for deal quality and client positioning through closure
  • Deal Ownership (Selective)

    • Lead deals to closure where aligned with experience, complexity, and strategic importance


Who You Are

Your experience & Track Record

  • Proven success in enterprise “hunter” sales roles, consistently delivering net-new logo acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close large, complex deals (multi-million €)
  • Strong experience in IT services, consulting, or managed services environments
  • Track record of building pipeline from scratch and converting into revenue in Luxembourg

Your Sales & Commercial Capabilities

  • Deep expertise in strategic selling and opportunity qualification
  • Ability to shape deals early, including value articulation and client-specific positioning
  • Experience with land-and-expand strategies and long-term account growth models in Luxembourg
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen

Your Client Engagement

  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-level and senior IT decision-makers in Luxembourg
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technology into business outcomes

Your Business & Technical Acumen

  • Broad understanding of:
    • Managed infrastructure services
    • Cloud, digital transformation, and consulting services
  • Ability to position integrated, cross-practice solutions

Your Collaboration & Leadership

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration with delivery, consulting, and technical teams
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability
