As a Senior Director, Business Development - French Speaking, you will play a strategic role in driving business growth across the clinical research sector by developing new client relationships and expanding existing partnerships. Accountabilities:

    • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients across assigned territories.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to support long-term business growth and account retention.
    • Lead sales activities throughout the business development lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiations, and contract discussions.
    • Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), working closely with cross-functional teams.
    • Develop and execute territory, key account, and strategic growth plans aligned with revenue objectives.
    • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, client meetings, bid defense presentations, and business development events.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic opportunities and major client presentations to maximize commercial success.
    • Consistently achieve individual sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and client engagement.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
      • Minimum of 10 years of business development or clinical sales experience within the CRO industry.
      • Strong understanding of the clinical drug development process, particularly Phase II-IV clinical research.
      • Previous experience in Clinical Operations is considered an advantage.
      • Proven track record of developing new business and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
      • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a highly professional approach.
      • Fluency in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.
      • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within assigned territories and internationally.
