Accountabilities:

    • Drive new business development efforts by actively identifying, prospecting, and securing retirement plan clients within an assigned U.S. territory.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, and ongoing client engagement activities.
    • Manage and grow existing client relationships by delivering ongoing value, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying expansion opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and prospects, presenting tailored retirement plan solutions and formal proposals.
    • Develop and execute territory strategies aligned with revenue goals and new business contribution targets.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service excellence and long-term relationship retention.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and effective service delivery.
    • Consistently track pipeline activity, sales performance, and client interactions to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within retirement plans, financial services, or related B2B solution-based environments.
      • Strong knowledge of retirement plan products, services, and the competitive landscape.
      • Proven ability to develop new business, manage client relationships, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
      • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
      • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external clients.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or similar productivity tools.
      • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
      • Willingness to travel and engage in networking or industry events as needed.
