As a member of the Payment Integrity team, our Data Reporting Analyst Senior serves as a data and analytic consultant for functional business areas by collecting and analyzing operation and financial data. What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science or related field
Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Attributes:
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to perform complex tasks independently and with minimal supervision
Expert knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and data structures with ability to document business requirements effectively
Advanced proficiency in data mining tools and methods including SAS, OLAP, server reporting services (SPSS, Minitab, Tableau)
Advanced expertise in analytic programming tools and methods including SAS, SQL, OLAP, Business Objects, and Crystal
Proven ability to design, develop, and manage reporting tools and dashboards
Well-developed business acumen in finance, accounting, economics, risk management, public health economics, social service research, or epidemiology
Strong project management skills with ability to organize, plan, and prioritize assignments across multiple projects
Flexibility to coordinate complex activities subject to rapid or extensive changes while working with minimal direction
Advanced oral and written communication skills with ability to present findings clearly to various audiences
Progressively responsible leadership experience with ability to represent the division visibly in internal meetings and manage difficult tasks without management assistance
Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Provides analytical support across all divisions by mining data, conducting analysis, interpreting results, and developing methodologies and approaches for new analytical models and reports
Proactively identifies issues, problems, and needed changes while recommending resolutions and participating in quality improvement efforts to eliminate inefficient resource use
Develops and applies knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, structures, and cost containment strategies to review data and assist with strategic development
Identifies reporting needs, assembles or directs assembly of reports, distributes information, and documents business requirements and methods used to generate work output
Designs, develops, oversees, and directs performance of acceptance testing for new reports, programs, and models
Drives analytic innovation and best practices within Cambia while serving as a resource on analytic programming tools and methods
Leads meetings with internal and external constituents, oversees and directs analysts on project basis, and assists in training team members and staff on project-related activities

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
Data Reporting Analyst Senior:
Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $92,700 - $125,400, the full salary range is $87,000 - $142,000 and the bonus target is 15%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $90,906.79 - $122,991.55 and the full salary range is $80,716.23 - $133,182.10.
Data Reporting Analyst Senior II:
Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $111,400 - $150,700, the full salary range is $104,000 - $171,000 and the bonus target is 15%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $114,251.88 - $154,576.08 and the full salary range is $101,444.41 - $167,383.55.
