We’re just getting started.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and flexible Component Engineer to ensure the components that underpin our systems from VRMs to high-speed connectors meet our standards for performance, manufacturability, long-term supply stability, and reliability at scale. This role reports to the Head of Quality and Reliability with a strong “dotted line” to Electrical Engineering R&D. This position plays a critical part in scaling our data center infrastructure design and production, sitting at the intersection of electrical engineering, quality and reliability, supply chain, and manufacturing. The Component Engineer owns the technical and lifecycle integrity of electronic components used in Lumilens product, and supporting subsystems. By driving evaluation and qualification efforts and smoothing supply chain obstacles, this position enables acceleration of design and production.Key Responsibilities:Supporting production to test and resolve technical and quality issues related to Key ComponentsWork with production and coordinate internal engineering teams to improve Key Component yield and testLeading technical testing and analysis to support early Joint Validation, and debug effortsWork closely with component vendor, RD engineering, Lab, Components PMs & System teams to ensure quality & qualification of componentsPlan and modify Key Component configurations to meet customer needs to optimize Server/Work Station ApplicationsAssist internal PMs to assess their Key Component Product requirements for Server/Work Stations, and to create product specifications and documents, conduct tactical competitive analysis, and critical situation managementPrepare and present technical presentations that explain the Key Component Products to customers, and internal PM teams to sell existing products and promote discussion for development for future Server/Workstation salesSupport internal engineering teams in failure analysis and defining corrective actionsProvide technical proposal for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry- specific solutions for Key ComponentsQualificationsBSEE or BSCE with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experiencesExperience with working in Key Component lab test and documentationSolid understanding of Server/Work Station system with respect to Key Component solutionsExperience with Key Component technology and processing is a plusExperience with system level CPU, DRAM, and Flash engineering is a plusStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of Key Component Related Products from design, manufacturing to promotionCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: Technical certifications in the Key Component is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and meaningful equity in a high-growth companyComprehensive health planOpportunity to work on cutting-edge technology shaping AI infrastructureCollaborative, high-caliber...
