The Role
Your role
As an Experience Researcher, you will turn user, data, competitive, and contextual research into clear, actionable insights that shape strategy and experience outcomes. The role focuses on understanding real user needs and behaviors, validating ideas through evidence, and ensuring experiences are viable, feasible, and desirable. Your work will influence decisions across the full experience lifecycle, from early strategy through delivery and refinement.
You will balance discovery and validation work, operating both independently and in close collaboration with designers, strategists, and delivery teams. Success in this role is demonstrated through research that directly informs decisions, improves experience quality, and reduces uncertainty for teams and customers.
What you will do
•Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
•Translate research findings into clear insights, opportunity areas, and experience principles that guide strategy and design
•Lead iterative validation of concepts, prototypes, and experiences to test assumptions and reduce risk
•Synthesize user, market, data, and competitive inputs into coherent narratives that support decision making
•Collaborate with experience designers, strategists, and technologists to embed research throughout the delivery lifecycle
•Select and apply appropriate research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual inquiry
•Ensure research outputs are accessible, documented, and reusable across teams
•Advocate for user centered and evidence based decision making in customer engagements and internal initiatives
Who You Are
Required skills and experience
•Demonstrated experience conducting experience or UX research and applying findings to influence strategy and design
•Ability to plan, execute, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research independently
•Experience translating complex research findings into clear insights, recommendations, and artifacts
•Background in UX, behavioral science, social science, or a closely related discipline
•Experience collaborating within cross functional teams including design, strategy, and delivery roles
•Working knowledge of research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and concept validation
Preferred skills and experience
•Experience supporting large or complex digital or service experiences
•Familiarity with research operations practices and participant management
•Experience working across multiple stages of the experience lifecycle, from strategy to surface
•Exposure to enterprise or B2B customer environments
