Back to all rolesAccountant/Senior Accountant (Revenue)ApplyJob detailsDepartment / FinanceSingaporeContractWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Senior Accountant (Revenue) to join our Finance team on a 12-month contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's revenue accounting operations, supporting month-end close, financial reporting and continuous process improvement through automation.We're looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of key revenue accounting activities, and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.You'll work with large volumes of transactional data, solve complex accounting challenges, and partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.What You'll DoPrepare and post customer invoices and revenue journals in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).Record and reconcile cost of sales and other revenue-related accounting entries.Perform reconciliations of payment gateway settlements, accounts receivable, and other revenue-related balance sheet accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy.Own assigned aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring revenue transactions are accurately recorded and reported within reporting timelines.Prepare and analyse gross profit and revenue reports, investigating variances and identifying key business drivers.Investigate accounting discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Operations, Engineering and other stakeholders to resolve revenue and billing issues.Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes through automation and workflow tools such as Alteryx, AI-powered tools or similar technologies.Produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support business and management decision-making.Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.Support external audits by preparing timely schedules, reconciliations and responses to audit requests relating to revenue accounting.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.At least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to revenue accounting or financial reporting.Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting platforms.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience handling and analysing large transactional datasets.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, investigate issues and perform root cause analysis.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.Self-motivated, organised and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Nice to haveExperience in a SaaS, subscription-based or technology company.Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, particularly Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).Working knowledge of IFRS 15 or ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.Experience with high-volume transactional data in a fast-paced environment.Experience with data analytics or automation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, SQL or AI-powered tools.Upload your resume to autofill the applicationUploadFirst name *Last name *Email *Dial code *Phone number *LinkedIn profile *Please upload your resume (preferably as a PDF file) *Click or drag file to uploadSupported file format: .PDF; Maximum file size: 10.49 MB; Maximum file: 1;Application QuestionsAre you currently based in the listed location of the role? *YesNoDo you require visa sponsorship to work in the location listed for the role? *YesNoWhat is your expected base compensation per month? *Your...
