It provides technology, product and business solutions in areas of Product Solutions & Analytics, Advanced Research & Technology, New Product Introduction and IT & Business Process Solutions.
The JD is as follows:
* Responsible for hardware and Wireless/RF architecture, design and development and troubleshooting field issues for NPI/NPE products and platform projects.
* Understanding of IoT Systems and working experience in Hardware and Wireless.
* Keen eye towards product cost, power consumption, form factor and EMI/EMC compliant hardware design.
* Should be able to work with global teams and have strong Hardware Development Life Cycle process, guidelines and practices
* Break down complex problems into workable modules.
* Keep track of technology trends for work areas like hardware architecture, mobile industry standards and drive innovation, best practices.
* At least 3 years’ experience with hardware architecture, design, development and release of products for Industrial domain.
* Knowledge and working experience with different tools like Mentor Graphics, Valor, Cadence for design & simulation activities.
* Ability to understand product requirement specification, hardware requirements specifications and able to break requirements into modules and derive CTQs for hardware design.
* Proficiency and working experience with high quality Schematic design, PCB Layout & routing, component procurement, Component kitting and ability to seamlessly work with fabrication and assembly houses
* Practical experience to design and develop 4-Layer/6-Layer HDI PCBs and assemblies.
* Apply DFx based best practices on a day-2-day basis to design hardware & RF modules and products to meet cost, yield, Manufacturability, Assembly, reliability and Quality.
* Ability to select active/passive components for the product eeBOM from specifications and select, work and negotiate with different semiconductor vendors and suppliers.
* Troubleshooting experience real world problems related to signal integrity, power consumption, EMI/EMC/ESD will be a Plus!
* Experience with SPI, I²C, UART, RS232, USB, SD, MIPI interfaces
* Working knowledge of interfacing internal and external peripherals like ADC, DAC, communication interfaces, displays, EEPROMs, compact Flash, SD cards.
*Experience with interfacing (camera, audio, NFC, BT) on embedded systems is a Plus
* Knowledge & working experience in wireless technologies like RFID, WLAN or Bluetooth will be a plus.
* Awareness and experience on designing product as per Industry certification standards like FCC, IC, ETSI, UL,CE is required.
* Should have past experience of at least 2-3 embedded hardware products development life cycle experience
* Past experience of working with high maturity hardware, software, mechanical, Industrial user experience teams, Certification teams and awareness of CMMi level practices, Six Sigma tools essential.
* Must have excellent communications, organizational skills, and presentation skills & be a team player.
