Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the statutory accounts preparation process under Dutch GAAP in line with filing deadlines.
Review of reconciliation between the Statutory and US GAAP Ledgers.
Calculation of the corporation tax provision for inclusion in the statutory accounts
Oversee technical accounting research; including assessing the financial reporting implications of recently issued accounting standards.
Preparation of the year-end tax packages for submission to the Global Tax Group as well as answering queries and providing data as required.
Liaising with auditors and tax advisors answering queries & providing data as required.
Review of the corporation tax forecast on a quarterly basis
Participate in the winding down process of entities
Responsibility for accounting for acquisitions
Develop and manage the relationship with the Global Tax Group.
Provide accounting support to the Manager including responses to ad hoc requests
Skills:
Accounting background with strong analytical skills
Positive attitude and flexibility
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
Team worker
Fluency in English
Qualifications and Experience:
Professional accountancy qualification, e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA
5 years of progressive accounting/tax experience
Company statutory accounts preparation knowledge
Exposure to US GAAP and IFRS. Previous experience with SAP/ Workiva an advantage
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP an advantage
Proficient on Excel
