What this opportunity involves:

Take full ownership of managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties, delivering comprehensive property management services that drive asset performance and client satisfaction. You'll be the key point of contact for all financial, operational, and tenant-related matters, ensuring compliance with Management Agency Agreements while optimizing building performance. This role combines strategic financial management, lease administration, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight to maintain high-performing assets that compete effectively in their respective markets.

An overview of the role:

  • Manage the complete financial cycle including rental invoicing and collection, arrears recovery, budget preparation, outgoing reconciliations, and creditor payment authorizations while maintaining portfolio financial data on the property management system
  • Control and negotiate lease renewals and rent reviews, coordinate with client solicitors for documentation, liaise with leasing agents on vacancies, and maintain up-to-date tenancy schedules
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive monthly reports to clients covering financial performance with detailed variance commentary, re-forecasting, building operations, and lease management issues
  • Stay informed of local market trends (rentals, vacancy rates, competing stock, incentives) and provide Capital Expenditure recommendations to ensure buildings remain competitive
  • Conduct property inspections, arrange necessary works, coordinate with Engineering and Operations teams for maintenance and servicing, and manage tenant relationships by handling queries, complaints and conducting regular satisfaction meetings
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for Risk Management and compliance with all regulations and codes, control building security and evacuation procedures, and receive statutory assessments submitting objections as directed
