Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities across Rockwell Automation businesses and regions. You will be part of the Global Analytics and Insights organization and will partner with business and teams to provide insights that support decision-making and our performance. You will use EPM Cloud, SAP, and other financiais systems to deliver meaningful analysis and reporting while driving automation, simplification, and process standardization initiatives. You will follow a hybrid work model and report directly to the FP&A Team Leader.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Present and explain financial performance and main variances and changes vs. forecast, plan and prior year.
  • Make decisions that meet operational and financial goals, supported by value-added advice and analysis.
  • Provide risk and opportunity assessment of financial performance to forecast and budget on ongoing bases.
  • Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance.
  • Develop financial plans using partner input and using standard tools to allow clear explanations for financial performance in a particular region, function or business.
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of FP&A (Controlling) experience and 5 years of overall finance or related business experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience interpreting financial results and develop meaningful recommendations.
  • Process improvement mindset with experience with automation and simplification.
  • Strong ownership and ability to guide issues to resolution.
  • Experience using financiais systems such as SAP, EPM Cloud, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Curiosity the business and continuously improve processes.
