About the role 

 

Experienced Procurement professional. Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Authorizes purchase orders, approves payments, and responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly .

Investments (capital and operational expenditures) and services are two major areas of focus for this position.

 

Job Description 

 

• Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution. 

• Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill account needs. 

• Responds to client issues or problems. 

• Authorizes purchase orders and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly. 

• Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices. 

• Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. 

• Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. 

• Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution. 

• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction. 

• Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services. 

• Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly. 

• Assembles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information for analysis. 

• Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. 

• Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met. 

• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries. 

 

 

 

Requirements 

 

• Execute operational procurement activities in ERP systems (purchase orders, order tracking, invoice verification) for different indirect categories  

• Ensure continuous supply of indirect materials and services for manufacturing and operations  

• Support and maintain catalog-based purchasing solutions  

• Handle day-to-day supplier communication related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing  

• Support Category Management with RFQs, sourcing requests, price negotiations, and supplier analyses  

• Contribute to project-based sourcing activities and contract implementations  

• Act as interface between plants, internal stakeholders, and suppliers 

• Fluent English  

• High-level written and spoken German is required; lower proficiency levels will not be considered / French skills are a plus  

• Handle day-to-day supplier communication related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing   

Qualifications & Experience  

• Experience in procurement / sourcing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment  

• Strong understanding of operational purchasing processes  

• Exposure to strategic sourcing or category management is an advantage  

• Experience in an international, multi-site organization preferred

Vergütungsspanne

Die jährliche Vergütung für diese Position liegt zwischen €43,000.00-€86,000.00 jährlich. Faktoren wie Fähigkeiten, Ausbildung, Erfahrung und weitere Qualifikationen können die Vergütung innerhalb dieser Spanne beeinflussen.
