Accountabilities:

The AI Engineering Systems Lead will own the design, development, and evolution of internal systems that enable faster and more reliable software delivery through AI-powered engineering workflows. This role requires a systems-oriented mindset, strong technical judgment, and the ability to turn engineering principles into automated, enforceable solutions.

    • Build and evolve autonomous coding pipelines that transform engineering requests into reviewed, production-ready code changes.
    • Improve AI-assisted development workflows by increasing reliability, scalability, observability, and automation across engineering processes.
    • Own and advance root-cause analysis systems that investigate complex issues across large codebases and continuously improve through evaluation frameworks.
    • Develop and maintain evaluation systems that measure AI-generated solutions against real engineering outcomes and continuously improve model performance.
    • Create and extend architectural enforcement systems, including automated checks, runtime protections, type systems, CI validations, and development hooks.
    • Build developer tooling that encourages test-driven development and improves engineering confidence for both human developers and AI agents.
    • Design and enhance quality and security guardrails that detect, prevent, and block problematic changes before production deployment.
    • Establish engineering standards through automation rather than documentation alone, ensuring architectural principles remain consistently enforced.
    • Partner with engineers across teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements and remove friction from development workflows.
    • Experiment rapidly with emerging AI technologies, measure results, and iterate based on data and practical outcomes.
    • Share learnings, failures, and technical discoveries to help strengthen engineering practices across the organization.
    • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a technically strong engineer who understands software systems deeply and is passionate about building the next generation of AI-enabled engineering environments. You should enjoy experimentation, automation, and creating solutions that improve how teams build software.

      • Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to use architecture patterns, type systems, automated checks, and testing strategies to prevent entire categories of problems.
      • Proven experience building with AI-assisted development tools, autonomous agents, or AI-driven engineering workflows.
      • Strong programming fundamentals and experience with languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
      • Experience developing developer tooling, CI/CD systems, automation frameworks, orchestration workflows, or engineering platforms.
      • Ability to design reliable systems that account for AI limitations, failure modes, and unpredictable behavior.
      • Experience building prototypes, testing new ideas quickly, and using experimentation to guide technical decisions.
      • Strong understanding of software quality practices, testing strategies, and scalable engineering processes.
      • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of complex technical challenges.
      • Curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and enthusiasm for exploring emerging technologies.
      • Salesforce and Apex development experience is a plus but not required.
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, and long-term incentive plan (LTIP).
        • Compensation level based on experience, technical impact, and demonstrated achievements.
        • Fully remote work environment for US-based employees.
        • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI engineering systems with significant organizational impact.
        • Access to advanced AI development tools, including Claude licenses, Salesforce AI tooling, approved API resources, and experimentation budgets.
        • Ability to influence how modern software engineering teams build, test, and deploy AI-assisted applications.
        • High-autonomy environment with opportunities to experiment, innovate, and rapidly iterate.
        • Collaborative culture focused on learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
        • Opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers solving complex technical challenges.
        • Encouragement to share technical projects, prototypes, demos, and open-source work as part of the application process.
