Accountabilities:
- Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications, systems, and infrastructure solutions for complex enterprise environments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and best practices.
- Partner with sales teams to support account planning, opportunity qualification, technical discovery, demos, proof-of-value engagements, presentations, and documentation.
- Analyze existing customer architectures and recommend modernization strategies using cloud, data, and AI technologies.
- Develop strong customer relationships by understanding business challenges and aligning technical solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Generate demand within assigned territories through technical initiatives, industry events, workshops, and account-based activities.
- Support customer success by building technical champions and ensuring successful adoption of solutions.
- Provide feedback to product teams and contribute to continuous improvements across solutions and processes.
- Mentor and support other members of the solutions consulting organization through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
- Maintain expertise in evolving technologies, industry trends, cloud ecosystems, AI architectures, and modern software development practices.
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technology roles, including 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions consulting within enterprise software environments.
- Strong experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Professional experience with modern programming or scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, Java, C++, or C#.
- Proven ability to review complex application architectures and provide recommendations for modernization and optimization.
- Strong understanding of databases, data models, cloud platforms, and modern application architectures.
- Experience working with major cloud providers and enterprise technology ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data engineering, AI/ML projects, or generative AI architectures is an advantage.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives and migrating legacy systems to modern technology stacks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, product, and customer teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
- Competitive base salary ranging from CAD $130,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
