Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing teams, delivering results, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with a people-first leadership style and can successfully navigate the unique challenges of leading a night-shift operation.

This leader will create clarity, build capability, and drive accountability while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production performance. They will embrace the Air MI Management System (AMS) and Lean principles to help scale a high-volume, low-mix manufacturing environment.

What You Will Work On

As the Head Coach, Night Production Operations, you will lead end-to-end night shift operations for AM93 production and Shipping & Receiving activities. You will ensure teammates have the information, materials, resources, and support needed to deliver on safety, quality, cost, and delivery commitments.

You will partner closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and day-shift leadership teams to sustain operational performance and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will also:

  • Own night-shift operational performance across Production and Shipping & Receiving.
  • Lead and develop front-line coaches and teammates, creating an engaged and accountable culture.
  • Drive execution against site priorities and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication and operational handoffs.
  • Lead daily management systems, standard work, and escalation processes.
  • Partner with Maintenance to respond to equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Support implementation of AMS, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster an environment where safety is integrated into every aspect of the operation.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships that improve flow, responsiveness, and execution.

Who You Will Work With

You will report directly to the Director, Manufacturing Operations, Air MI AM93.

You will collaborate closely with:

  • Production Operations leaders
  • Shipping & Receiving teams
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Supply Chain Operations
  • Quality Engineering
  • Maintenance
  • Human Resources
  • Site Leadership Team

You will also serve as the primary operational leader for night-shift teammates, ensuring alignment to site priorities and business objectives.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, business administration, industrial engineering  or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading people and teams.
  • Experience driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work on-site Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading manufacturing operations on off-shifts or night shifts.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Daily Management Systems, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with workforce planning, labor management, and production scheduling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, production reporting tools, and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Experience supporting Shipping & Receiving or warehouse operations.
