**Your role and responsibilities**
The Associate Partner will serve as a leader in IBM’s Federal Supply Chain practice, driving business development, manage client relationships, and oversee delivery of complex consulting engagements. The Associate Partner will lead business development and delivery for Federal supply chain programs inclusive of planning, sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing and logistics. Responsibilities include architecting end to end supply chain solutions including business process transformation and enabling technology, developing go-to-market campaigns and enabling supply chain technology offerings to drive business growth within the Federal Market.
Key responsibilities include:
* Business Development: Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, and leading the sales capture process for the service line.
* Revenue management: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, maintaining and expanding long-term relationships Oversee large, complex consulting projects, ensuring delivery quality, client satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives.
* Practice Operations and Development: Contribute to practice operations, as well as driving thought leadership, service offering development, and knowledge sharing within the practice area.
* Team Leadership: Coach, mentor and develop consultants and managers, fostering career growth and high-performance teams.
* Market Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and solutions in supply chain and acquisition.
* Collaboration: Work across IBM’s various service lines and technology units to deliver integrated solutions.
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Deep Expertise in Supply Chain: Proven track record of understanding the supply chain industry, including its complexities and challenges, to drive business outcomes and deliver enterprise transformation. • Successful experience in selling and delivering Smarter Process solutions to clients across various industries and services, leveraging expertise in supply chain operations. • Strategic Leadership: Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sales and delivery strategies for assigned accounts, driving growth and revenue expansion. • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the supply chain federal industry, enabling effective communication of complex concepts to clients and informing business decisions. • Business Outcomes Delivery: Proven ability to drive performance and accountability for assigned accounts, ensuring successful delivery of solutions and meeting client expectations.
10+ years in supply chain management
· 5+ years supporting the Federal market
· Demonstrated ability to lead successful end-to-end business development from go-to-market through to proposal creation.
· Demonstrated ability to lead delivery of large complex programs
· Experience serving as the direct manager to individuals
· Experience leading teams of 10 **Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Advanced Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain operations, including complexities and challenges, to drive business outcomes and deliver SC solutions. Ability to leverage this expertise to architect, sell and deliver solutions across various industries and services specifically federal agencies. • Experience with successful sales and delivery to clients, to drive business outcomes and revenue expansion. Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to clients.
