Accountabilities:

    The ProAdmin Testing & Client Support Specialist will support the quality, usability, and ongoing improvement of actuarial software solutions while serving as a trusted resource for clients. This role combines testing, consulting, training, and collaboration with product teams to ensure successful delivery of software enhancements.

    • Perform quality assurance testing for software enhancements, client solutions, and system updates by creating thoughtful test scenarios and validating results.
    • Review and verify interface changes, calculation outputs, reporting functionality, and help documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Support clients by troubleshooting issues, providing expert guidance, documenting best practices, and responding to product-related questions.
    • Configure defined benefit plans using specialized software tools and assist with client implementations, integrations, and project coordination.
    • Participate in the development and improvement of training materials, including online learning resources and user documentation.
    • Deliver client training sessions through virtual and onsite formats as needed.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify product improvements based on user feedback, regulatory changes, and technology advancements.
    • Contribute to software enhancement discussions and, when applicable, support programming initiatives under the guidance of experienced developers.
    • Maintain clear documentation and ensure solutions meet client expectations and business requirements.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines defined benefit pension knowledge, analytical ability, and strong communication skills with an interest in software testing and client-facing technology solutions.

      • Experience in defined benefit outsourcing, pension administration, actuarial valuation, or a related software testing and quality assurance role.
      • Strong understanding of defined benefit plan documents, administration processes, calculations, and regulatory requirements.
      • Experience working with benefit calculation tools, participant communications, forms, and pension-related workflows.
      • Ability to independently test and validate complex calculations generated by software systems.
      • Strong mathematical, analytical, and logical problem-solving skills.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
      • Experience with SQL or databases is a plus.
      • Background in actuarial science, mathematics, actuarial exams, or related technical disciplines is preferred.
      • Previous experience with actuarial software platforms is advantageous.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.
      • Experience managing client relationships or technical projects is an asset.
