Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Classical Hematology
In this position, you will care for adult patients with nonmalignant hematological conditions. Your role will include comprehensive patient assessment, ordering and interpreting of appropriate tests, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic benign hematologic conditions in new and established patients. Patient education will be fundamental.

Less than 2 years: 224 hours annually (8.62 hours per pay period)
2 years: 264 hours annually (10.15 hours per pay period)
10 years: 280 hours annually (10.77 hours per pay period)
15+ years: 304 hours annually (11.69 hours per pay period)

Relocation: Relocation is allotted for candidates 70 or more miles away from Rochester, MN.
CME: Benefit-eligible employees (50-100% FTE) receive up to 7 trip days (commensurate with time away from practice as approved off the schedule by a supervisor) and an annual allotment of $4,400.

Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP. DNP preferred.
Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
Must be eligible for DEA registration. BLS certification required.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Ability to maintain long-term professional and compassionate relationships with patients, family, and colleagues. Must have demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
Hematology experience as an APP or completion of APP Hematology fellowship preferred.
