Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Service – Controls is responsible for leading the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service support activities related to Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC Controls. The role involves managing a team of service engineers and technicians, ensuring successful project execution, system reliability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of BMS and HVAC control systems.
- Manage installation and integration of controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs, control panels, and field devices.
- Oversee commissioning of HVAC equipment including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and VAV systems.
- Ensure successful integration through BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols.
- Support system testing, point-to-point checks, functional testing, and performance validation.
- Manage service schedules, resource allocation, and field execution activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to service engineers and technicians.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and customer concerns.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review service reports, commissioning documentation, and project handover records.
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in BMS, HVAC Controls, Installation, and Commissioning.
- Minimum 2–3 years of team handling or supervisory experience preferred.
