The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position. Acts in an advisory capacity to Voluntary Compliance and Area Coordinators with respect to: recommendations on amount of fees or sanctions, appropriate corrective action, development of issues, and drafting closing agreements and other written approval. Confers with Manager Voluntary Compliance, Group Managers of Voluntary Compliance, Program Coordinators, Voluntary Coordinators and Area Coordinators on the application of EPCRS programs. Available to assist in the explanation of adjustments, sanctions, and correction methods to taxpayers and their representatives. Designated as a contact person to address customer inquiries about access to and use of EPCRS programs. Participates as a member on the Central Coordination Committee. Acts as the work unit contact for the dissemination of information and procedures for the proper application of EPCRS programs.
