Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. **What you'll build** As Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with various stakeholders from business initiatives, including C-level executives, to understand the needs, define the requirements and translate these into the sustainable IT architecture(s) and roadmaps. At the same time, you will collaborate with IT delivery units and IT Product Owners to ensure these architectures translate into live solutions. As an Enterprise Architect focused on Application Portfolio Management, you will: + Drive application portfolio analysis for selected business domains, identifying opportunities for application rationalization, modernization, and optimization. + Analyze application landscapes to identify redundant or obsolete applications, consolidation opportunities, and potential cost and risk drivers. + Partner with application owners, business stakeholders, and architects to improve portfolio transparency, data quality, and decision-making. + Prepare portfolio reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support architecture governance and IT investment planning. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of Application Portfolio Management processes and governance practices. + Support the optimization of third-party software management and lifecycle processes. + Stay informed about emerging technologies and AI-driven capabilities that can improve portfolio management and enterprise architecture practices. In this role, you will progressively take ownership of selected Application Portfolio Management topics while developing expertise in portfolio-driven decision-making, supporting strategic IT investments, and aligning application roadmaps with business priorities. **What you bring** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. + Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus. + 1–3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, IT Consulting, Business Analysis, IT Governance, or a related field (including relevant internships or working student experience). + Understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks.Understanding of Application Portfolio Management concepts and their practical application. + Experience working with Application Portfolio Management tools (e.g. LeanIX) is an advantage. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify optimization opportunities across application portfolios. + Ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful recommendations for business and IT stakeholders. + Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams. + Broad knowledge of modern IT technologies and cloud-based enterprise applications. + Interest in AI-driven Enterprise Architecture and modern productivity tools is a plus. + Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, international team environment. **Where you belong** As the digital backbone of SAP, the Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) organization serves as the core of SAP's strategy execution, driving efficiency and streamlined operations by harnessing the potential of cutting-edge Business AI solutions.
