Accountabilities:

    As a Customer Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of customer cloud environments while providing expert guidance and operational support. You will serve as a technical advisor, driving reliability improvements and helping teams adopt best practices across cloud infrastructure.

    • Lead technical troubleshooting investigations to resolve complex customer issues quickly and effectively.
    • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships and providing expert guidance.
    • Own key reliability initiatives, including incident response, disaster recovery validation, backup processes, security patching, secure access management, and audit log monitoring.
    • Support production environments through proactive monitoring, issue prevention, and continuous reliability improvements.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to improve service delivery through documentation, knowledge sharing, and technical enablement.
    • Manage and participate in 24/7 production on-call rotations, responding to incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
    • Develop automation solutions and operational improvements using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
    • Work across multiple customer environments, industries, and emerging technologies to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
    • Continuously improve technical skills through learning opportunities and contributions to internal best practices.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced cloud and infrastructure professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, customer-facing skills, and hands-on experience managing production environments.

      • 7+ years of experience in information technology, with a focus on cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure, or platform operations.
      • 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services, including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, KMS, Backup, CloudTrail, Route53, ECS/EKS, and related technologies.
      • Strong knowledge of networking and security troubleshooting, including routing, DNS, security groups, ACLs, WAF, and VPN/bastion access.
      • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
      • Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
      • Mandatory experience supporting production environments with 24/7 on-call responsibilities and incident management processes.
      • Experience administering and patching Windows and Linux servers.
      • Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, or Prometheus.
      • Conversational English communication skills required.
      • Experience using AI-powered development environments or tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar solutions.
      • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and vulnerability remediation is a plus.
      • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL is preferred.
      • Familiarity with cloud governance, compliance, CSPM tools, ITSM platforms, or multi-cloud environments is an advantage.
      • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Associate are a plus.
