Corporate Tax Manager

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Tax, this position is responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting and planning initiatives. This role coordinates tax filings, ensures the accurate and timely submission of all tax returns, prepares financial statements and manages tax correspondences with regulatory agencies. This position collaborates with other departments, including Accounting, Legal and Finance to ensure that tax considerations are incorporated into financial reporting and strategic planning.
Additionally, this position assists with quarterly tax estimates, tax research and provides support for month-end close processes, as needed. This role monitors and ensures compliance with tax filing deadlines, extensions and estimated tax payments, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA licensure required
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate tax with a focus on tax compliance, audit preparation, financial reporting and planning, preferably in the mortgage servicing industry
- Experience with financial statement preparation, including consolidations and eliminating entries
- Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- Previous experience managing people and leading teams highly preferred
- Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, CCH Axcess Tax)
- Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation
- The hiring range for this position is between $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
