Accountabilities:
- Design, simulate, and validate electronic circuits using Qucs-S, ensuring accuracy and performance across different configurations.
- Develop and optimize analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit designs based on technical requirements and system objectives.
- Analyze simulation outputs to identify issues, troubleshoot performance challenges, and improve design reliability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate functional requirements into practical circuit solutions.
- Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, and overall system performance.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, simulation reports, and engineering summaries.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute expertise on Qucs-S usage and circuit simulation best practices.
- Stay updated on advancements in electronic design methodologies and Qucs-S tool capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Qucs-S circuit simulation (mandatory requirement).
- Proven experience in designing, simulating, and validating electronic circuits.
- Solid understanding of analog, digital, or mixed-signal electronics principles.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex electronic systems.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate engineering concepts effectively in English.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, contractor-based environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and engineering quality.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30 to $120/hour, depending on experience.
